We are a cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end experiences on Android, iOS, and the web. We value and foster a collaborative environment where product, design, and engineering work together every day to build and design new features for our customers.
What will you do?
- Build and launch consumer-facing features to millions of customers
- Work closely with the web and mobile teams to develop new features
- Optimize and tune existing systems for speed and performance
- Build data pipelines and serving infrastructure required to efforts like search and recommendations
- Work with the Infrastructure team to push our next-gen services
Technologies we use:
- Server: Go, Python, Elixir
- Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch
- Platform: AWS, Google
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing horizontally scalable and fault-tolerant systems in production
- 2+ years of experience with Go and/or Python
- A deep understanding of one or more SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch)
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required
