Meet the IBM Engineering Team!

Hello NYC!

HackerX is partnering with IBM to introduce top software engineers in the area to their engineering team!

It’s a one of a kind opportunity to meet some of IBMs’ senior technology and engineering directors, team leads, managers as well as Talent Acquisition partners within HR.

Join us at our offices and learn about some of the exciting new technologies we’re working with, enjoy catered food and drinks, and meet other awesome developers!

Digital Workplace Engineering is a custom software engineering team inside IBM’s IT organization.  We are about 150 employees with a growing presence in NYC.  We build web and mobile applications that enhance the productivity of IBMers. We have a captive global audience, with high expectations of their technology.

We affect the lives of over half a million users as they work to solve the problems of healthcare with Watson technology, secure supply chains with Blockchain, and develop breakthroughs in quantum computing at IBM. Our solutions help them to spend their time advancing these groundbreaking technological innovations. We believe that the state of IT reflects the way a company thinks and feels about its employees, and we are passionate about our fellow IBMers.

Our team gets to work with cutting edge tools, and build custom web and mobile solutions that are truly deployed at scale. Our global users will have millions of interactions with your innovations daily, and we work closely with our design partners to have continuous feedback loops as part of our agile process. You will have direct input to the way we work through an active guild model, and daily scrum ceremonies.

At our NYC WeWork office, you will be a part of a fun, inquisitive team. We are hard working, but also enjoy regular happy hours and game nights. We encourage our team to keep up with the latest technology through conferences and local Meetups.
