We are looking for a passionate JavaScript Software Engineer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions.You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Work with multi-platform apps for SmartTVs, Game consoles, set-top boxes, and Websites

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have a good understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
  • You have a basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, including pre-processors, such as sass, less, and scss.
  • You have a good understanding of one of these libraries/frameworks: ReactJS, nodeJS, Angular, VueJS, and any other related to JavaScript
  • You have a basic understanding of Event Model and Design Patterns
  • You have a good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, promises, and AJAX/Fetch
  • You are proficient in understanding cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
  • You are familiar with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
  • You are familiar with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Rollup, Grunt, Gulp.js
  • You have a good understanding of code versioning tools, such as git and gitflow.
  • You have a good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
