The Role:
We are currently seeking strong Software Developers who will help us keep building top-notch products within fantasy sports gaming. You will be using a variety of technologies to hand-in-hand with our Software Architects, QA team, and fellow Software Developers to create scalable, sustainable, and high-efficiency. You will be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to the same mission. We push each other, learn from each other, and strive to continually grow.
Day In the Life:
• Writing clean, well-organized, testable, and reusable code
• Participate in code reviews and business/technical discussions
• Provide input into and follow established development guidelines and standards
• Assist with triaging defects and bringing them to resolution
• Assist with the design of Java applications under the direction of the architect
• When required, research and evaluate new tools and technologies to use in development
• Assist the agile team with planning, estimating timelines, and prioritizing work
What you bring and who you are:
• 2+ years of software development experience (Java, J2EE, JS, Angular, Bootstrap)
• 2+ years of development experience in Spring framework (Springboot, iBatis)
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
• Ability to participate in code reviews, design reviews and over the shoulder debugging
• Ability to deliver software as part of a team
• Demonstrated expertise with responsive design principles
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Bonus Points:
• PostgresSQL experience
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Kafka
• Junit, Mockito experience
•JBoss, Tomcat
