Our Product Development organisation is truly Global with cross functional teams spanning 6 Tech Hubs. These can be found in Malta, Budapest, Stockholm, Tallinn and Kyiv and we are adding a new one here in Athens. If you’re passionate about the latest technologies and can handle mission-critical responsibilities, then this is the role for you!
This role sits within our Onboarding Area, where the team focuses on developing our customer touchpoints across all brands and markets. This covers the entire customer journey from landing page and registration; all the way through to making their first deposit.
A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH
As part of our team, you will be building new products using latest technologies; actively contributing towards our multi-brand adaptive frontend platform, which is supporting our core brands.
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for software development in a scrum team. You will be contributing directly to the success of our products by materializing our product teams’ visions into a tangible user experience. You will participate in sprint planning, task estimation, development, testing, code reviews, deploying great software, implementing new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality.
You will be working side by side with some of the greatest talent in the industry. You will be working on web applications dealing with high traffic reaching worldwide audiences. YOU’RE GOOD AT
At least 2 years of working experience in TypeScript and JavaScript
At least one JavaScript Framework (Angular2+, AngularJS, React+Redux, or Vue.js)
HTML, CSS, Sass or LESS
RESTful APIs
Unit and Integration Tests (Jasmine, Jest, Karma)
JavaScript tooling (webpack, rollup.js)
Scalable and performant web applications
Agile (Scrum) development
WHAT DOES OUR TECH STACK LOOK LIKE?
At Betsson, we pride ourselves on adaptability and keeping up with the latest technologies. Our current tech stack looks like this;
Angular 11, Angular Material (Desktop),
TypeScript 4, Redux Pattern for State Management,
RxJS, Sass,
HTML5; and the frontend consumes RESTful APIs and Web Sockets.
