Overview
About the role:
As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and testing new features and frameworks for supporting an ecosystem of microservices. You’ll work as a member of the technology team to collaborate with UX, product management, and software engineers to define new features and capabilities powering our products to work together to provide the ultimate experience for both internal and external customers. You’ll build common microservices in C# that will be leveraged by multiple teams at Blackbaud to aid in connecting our network of good across the world!
We practice continuous delivery and work in a consistent agile environment. You’ll design and implement critical elements of architecture and application components for internal core service offerings. The ideal individual is pedantic about details but pragmatic about decision making; self-directed in their work but collaborative in nature; opinionated about contemporary software development practices but open-minded to feedback and outside ideas. You’ll be working on a team that owns the code from development and into production, deploying a devops model of complete ownership.
