Overview
What you’ll do/requirements:
Work with a multidisciplinary team to carry out and lead the design, implement, and deployment of a blockchain-based application.
Architect consensus algorithms and or smart contracts according to business need.
Create user interfaces, data visualization and reporting platforms utilizing third-party data.
Develop, test, and manage new databases and software initiatives as required.
Prototype (Proof-of-Concept) blockchain applications based on distributed ledger technology such as Fabric and Corda.
Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel on solutions as well as business and technical needs.
Desired qualifications:
A degree in computer science, software engineer, computer engineering, or other related backgrounds.
Strong data analysis and data integration skills.
Experienced with Javascript and various Javascript frameworks such as Node and React.
UI & UX and Web design experience (HTML5/CSS).
Working knowledge of database operations (RDBMS, NoSQL, MongoDB).
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and thrives in an agile environment.
Possess strong problem solving and independent decision making skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
Experience working for small, fast growing startups an asset
Not all of the aforementioned technology platforms will be used, but we would like to see the candidate’s ability to transition and adapt to new software environments.
