Celebrate company was founded in 2021 – out of our heart and origin kartenmacherei, which was born in 2010. Under the new roof, the celebrate group has great companies such as kartenmacherei, Couture, faireparterie, celebrate Apps and celebrate digital printing.

Today we are over 350 heads, 24 nations, 12 dogs, 4 locations and all together 1 great team. We are spread all over Germany and meanwhile also in France and we develop and produce digital services and stationery products with a broad portfolio of over 200,000 stationery and photo products.

We are an international team of passionate people who give their best every day and contribute with know-how, courage and creativity so that we all grow together – as a company, as a team and also personally. Together, we have created a very special corporate culture, with high values that are particularly close to our hearts.

Senior Backend Developer PHP/NodeJs (m/f/d)

In both cases you will work in an autonomous, cross-functional team with a strong sense of purpose and the desire to grow as well as solving real-world customer problems.

You want to help us take our products to the next level and you feel like making history with us? We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer (m/f/d) (for kartenmacherei) and a Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) (for celebrate apps).

What you can achieve

  • You become one of the leading minds behind our products and evolve the products through different stages of its lifecycle right from design to deployment.
  • As part of a cross-functional team, you envision and build web applications which our customers love and use to create their individual and personalized products.
  • Take part in product decision making and prioritization.
  • Opportunity to contribute to multi components of our tech stack.
  • You drive the technological strategy, involving choosing appropriate tech stacks for our target platforms.

What you bring

  • You are experienced in building well-tested, robust applications using PHP
  • You are experienced in building large scaled API-based services to support mobile/web applications with NodeJs.
  • Preferably, you bring real-world experience in some of the following technologies:
    Docker
    AWS, GCP, Azure
    Infrastructure as code
    CI / CD
    PHPUnit
  • You are intrinsically motivated to keep yourself and others up-to-date on backend technologies and cloud infrastructure.
  • You are eager to see your products being used by real customers and to be a driving force for the success of your team.
  • You seek simplicity in the solutions you build.
