Job Description:
Our release engineering team focuses on working closely with various cloudera engineering teams to build and maintain automated state-of-the-art build and release infrastructure.
Ideal candidate for the position requires a self motivated individual with strong programming fundamentals and prior programming or automation experience to handle responsibilities across different phases of the software development lifecycle.
You will be using your passion in building tools and robust infrastructure to support big data platforms. You will also have exposure to complex data engineering systems and challenges of one of the biggest distributed systems developed by mankind.
Skills:
Programming experience with Python and Shell scripting.
Extensive knowledge of Unix / Linux
Experience with automating CI/CD processes.
Experience with Openshift, AWS, GCP and Azure environments and strong system fundamentals.
Experience with infrastructure languages like Terraform, Ansible, Helm etc.
Experience with Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
Good knowledge on Kubernetes and Containers.
Responsibilities:
Create and improve tools on continuous integration, automated testing and release management using Python.
Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality Engineering and Platform teams.
Build strong infrastructure using OpenShift, BareMetal, AWS, GKE and Azure.
Create and maintain CI/CD for all kinds of platforms.
