Who You Are
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team, focused on helping Australians search for and find the right home. This position will work with product and engineering peers in the platform and agent solution teams to complete development and product projects across the business.
Must have:
– 2+ years experience working with React, HTML and CSS
– 2 years experience working with Node.js
– Be familiar working in an agile environment
– Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI etc)
Nice to have:
– GraphQL experience
– .NET Core experience
– Experience in maintaining and operating cloud products
In a typical day you should expect to:
Implement solutions for Domain development and house and land properties across both frontend and backend technologies
Write clean, readable and performant code
Write unit and integration tests to ensure a solid, bug-free code base.
Participate in sprint planning
Code review other team members code on a daily basis.
Attend meetings and help solve problems
Help and mentor junior engineers when needed
Work in a team environment
Assist and support the Infrastructure team in operating the production infrastructure.
Provide technical expertise and guidance for other team members
