Are you a Full Stack JavaScript Developer, highly skilled in Node.js and React? We are opening the door for a highly talented new team member to join us and help our existing Engineering Team continue to build a variety of solutions (strong focus on bots, automation and custom integrations) for the Workplace from Facebook, Google Workspace and Asana platforms. The Work

Here’s what you will do day to day:

  • Design solutions using tried and tested methodologies; our customers depend on it
  • Use Node.js to build backend solutions and API’s
  • Build frontend solutions with React, HTML, CSS, etc
  • Work on a mixture of new and existing client facing projects
  • Assist with the creation of Statements of Work for client projects
  • Embrace containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Write good quality technical documentation and tests
  • Attend to support requests when needed
  • Perform code reviews and provide objective feedback
  • Coach  and support new team members, sharing your knowledge, skills and experience to make the experience better for our clients

The Skills 

Here’s what you’ll need to do it:

  • 3+ years proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role, ideally with experience on client consulting engagements
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of frontend and backend technologies
  • JavaScript, we use both Node.js and React
  • HTML/CSS
  • MySQL + Sequelize ORM
  • Enablo is an employee experience business. A strong ability to create quality UI/UX skills are a must-have
  • Feels at home with source code management with git
  • Familiar with cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Motivated and self-directed; our developers do more than just work through a backlog of tickets
  • Embrace secure programming practices
  • Understand the importance of testing
  • What you know now is not enough; when you come across a problem you can’t solve or needs a skill you don’t have, you embrace the chance to learn more
  • Strong ability to deep dive technically and lead technically in some areas, taking others through your process and reasoning.

And, any of these would help sweeten the deal:

  • Experience developing bots
  • Familiarity with webhooks
  • Development using Facebook’s Graph API
  • DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (eg. Azure Resource Templates, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
