Overview
FLSmidth is the world leader in cement and mineral processing equipment. We are looking for a full stack developer to join a small team working on advanced sensors and computer vision. Our software stack is Scala on the JVM on both server and embedded devices, with the user interface in the browser. It is a React single page web app in JavaScript but moving to Typescript. We do some prototyping of machine learning and computer vision models in Python. There’s also a few bits of C# for good measure. We don’t expect you to be fluent in our full-stack immediately, but comfort in moving between languages is critical. We have an office in Salt Lake City, but the vast majority of work can be done remotely.
