Our client is a small focused team based in Toronto founded 5 years ago. Their mission is to help job seekers find their next role at any point in their career. Instead of just traditional outplacement services, they offer a wide range of options how former employees can get upskilled: Linkedin learning, headshots, health insurance, business cards, plus traditional career coaching.

– 5+ years of development experience (3+ years of experience with Ruby)
– Experience with Javascript (3+ years either Ember, Angular, React, or Vue)
– The application is written in Ember so ideally, we’re looking for 1+ in production experience with Ember.js
– Experience with backend API development (Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Django, Phoenix, or Node)
– Experience with relational databases: Postgres or MySQL
– Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec, Jest, QUnit, pytest or equivalent
– Experience working with third-party APIs like Google Maps/Places, Meetup, Twilio, etc.
– Experience with mentoring, leading, or training other team members is a plus
– Experience with cloud platforms: Heroku, AWS
