As a Director of Technology at Havas Canada, you are part of a leadership team that champions technical vision, design, and delivery of client solutions. Primary Responsibilities:

•Responsible for the overall software development cycle for client engagements, which could include mobile apps, web, CMS, MarTech and middleware implementations

•Work closely with technology teams to solution and develop the best technical design and approach

•Provide oversight and management of technical architecture and delivery by supporting, coaching, and mentoring our cross-discipline teams

•Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to Havas management and client stakeholders

•Collaborate and contribute to client proposals by reviewing client requirements, existing capabilities, and infrastructure

•Develop wholistic plans and views of client systems, architectures and technical environments

•Build and maintain relationships with clients through both remote and onsite meetings

Qualifications:

•10+ years industry experience in technology

•Hands-on experience leading team to deliver technical solutions

•In-depth knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, web and/or mobile app development, marketing technology (CMS, DAM, Search, Marketing Automation, etc.)

•Strong conviction of engineering practices

•Experience leading a distributed, remote team

•Experience and desire for people management and team building

•Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
