Job Description

As the company is entering new markets and expanding its portfolio of products, Introspect Technology is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our R&D team in Montreal.

As a Front-End Developer, you will participate in maintaining the Introspect ESP Software, a development and scripting environment aimed to help test engineers around the world to validate their high-speed electronics design.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work at a rapidly growing global company and to serve leading edge technologies such as MIPI, PCI Express, DisplayPort, USB, and next-generation telecommunications standards. It also offers the possibility to obtain multidisciplinary experience in desktop development, embedded systems, signal validation, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate existing applications to newer, more modern GUI frameworks
  • Design and build application-specific graphical interfaces
  • Work closely with internal and external users to create tools that suit their specific needs
  • Work with support engineers to identify and address common user difficulties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in software development and/or UX development
  • Strong interest in user experience design
  • Experience in one or more of the following topics:
    • Python3
    • Desktop GUI frameworks (.NET, wxWidgets, QT, etc)
    • C++
    • Digital signal processing
