About the Role
As a Senior Web Developer you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a multi-tenanted cloud solution that allows remote management of fuel pump payment terminals. The Senior Web Developer will be actively involved in:
Development
Automated testing
Documentation
Supporting DevOps team
Managing technical debt
Code reviews and mentoring
About You
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer who has experience building features for a multi-tenant solution. In addition to this, the right candidate will have:
Practical experience at a senior level
5+ years software development experience with the Javascript ecosystem
Proven record of delivering features
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders like Product Owner, Architects, Leads, QA, etc.
Experience with Production support
Excellent communication skills
Experience with the following:
Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Cloud Foundry, etc.
RESTful API frameworks – Restify, ExpressJS, .NET Web API, Spring, etc.
Relational SQL databases – PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
Serverless functions – AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions
Caching databases – Redis, DynamoDB, Memcached, etc.
Unit, API and UI automation frameworks and libraries
Message queues – RabbitMQ, Kafka, ZeroMQ, etc.
SPA frameworks – Angular, Vue, React, etc.
Git
Advanced knowledge with the following:
Asynchronous programming techniques
Modular, maintainable, and testable code patterns
Writing code that complies with modern secure code practices
Dependency management to prevent security vulnerabilities
