At LCvista, we are building the next generation LMS and compliance tracking software for public accounting firms. We work as true partners with our clients to offer the best Compliance and Learning Management System for accounting professionals.
Our client list includes many top 10 and top 100 accounting firms. In 2021, LCvista was No. 819 on the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. We are a growing collaborative team working fully remote. Our team members are located throughout the United States (CA, WA, OR, ID, IL, NC, NY and more).
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a full-time Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python, Django and/or React to help build and enhance our Django and React based web application. Experience with data onboarding, process automation and external application integrations a plus.
You enjoy a team environment and working with others in a remote setting. Your typical day includes talking with our business team, writing code, reviewing and discussing code with other developers. You are able to evaluate requirements, collaborate on potential solutions and then deliver production-ready code with unit and integration tests.
You are based anywhere in the US and can work on a fixed schedule during business hours in your time zone.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years working with Python/Django and/or React in production
- Experience with front-end web development skills — (HTML/CSS).
- Knowledge of test automation (we use Selenium)
- Knowledge of SQL and database structures (we use PostgreSQL)
- Experience building decoupled architecture utilizing REST API
- Experience with cloud-base architecture (we use AWS)
- Experience with version control (we use Github)
- Strong ability to understand trade-off decisions as it relates to technology, architecture and feature design
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Interview process:
After an initial meeting to introduce ourselves, we’ll select candidates to do a take home coding exercise that you then discuss with members of our team. You’ll also meet members of the product and business team in a separate interview.
