Overview
The Digital Experience team is seeking an experienced Full Stack Ruby Developer to deliver cutting edge shopping experiences on MasterDynamic.com. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing brand that is born in digital and rooted in technological innovation.
As the Lead Developer at Master & Dynamic, you will be responsible for back and front-end web development for all Master & Dynamic Shopify properties (.com, .co.uk, & .eu) and integration with 3rd party cloud services. You will also play a pivotal role as Master & Dynamic expands our international e-commerce presence into future markets.
This position works closely with the management team and has an integral role in shaping Master & Dynamic’s future. This role is based at our Midtown Manhattan headquarters.
Requirements
- 4 years of professional web development experience including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- 3 years of Ruby on Rails experience in an e-commerce environment
- 2 years of AWS or equivalent REST API experience required
- Experience developing for SEO practices
- Experience translating uI designs into code using elegance and minimalism
- Experience with Gulp or an equivalent front-end task runner
- Shopify experience a plus
- Material design experience a plus
