We are now looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Platform Team. You could be located in Romania or Finland. The position is permanent and full-time.

What software would I develop in this role?

NAPA Design Solutions team develops ship design software. Our 3D modeling and design functionalities are the most powerful, making the ship design process the best. Built-in development and customizable capabilities enable users to automate repetitive tasks and include user-specific ship design know-how into the system. The largest shipyards in the world use our software.

The role – what would you do?

As a Senior Software Developer, your main responsibility will be the development, testing, and maintenance of our NAPA ship design solution. In this role, you will be working with .NET Desktop applications, some native libraries, third-party components, including 3D graphics library, database engines, licensing solution, etc.

The assignments and tasks in our self-managed organization can be tailored based on your competencies and interests.

What are we looking for?

The perfect fit for this role would have:

  • 3-5+ years’ earlier experience in desktop application development
  • Experience with database solutions
  • Experience in automated testing methods
  • Good grasp of software reliability and maintainability

It would be a bonus if you also had:

  • Knowledge of computer graphics
  • Degree in computer science
  • Experience with application profiling

Your NAPA family and job location

We have development offices in Helsinki, Finland, and Galati, Romania. You may also work remotely and flexibly.

You will work closely with your 5-member team and interact with local and global colleagues from various teams like software development, UX designers, DevOps, and sales. We speak English in all our locations.
