Job Description (é um emprego híbrido)
We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be on understanding business problems, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products. Also, you would be responsible for bringing the developed solutions into production.
Responsibilities
Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers and regressors using machine learning techniques
Finding the best ways into acquiring required data points for models that solve business problems
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis, as well as suggesting changes in the data scheme if necessary
Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
Bringing the developed solutions from the lab to production
Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, specially RNNs, DNNs and Gradient Boosted Trees.
Significant experience with Python
Experience with ML frameworks such: Tensorflow/Keras and scikit-learn, Profet (desirable)
Understanding of data cleansing techniques as well as necessary encodings for NNs
Great communication skills
Experience with matplotlib (desirable)
Experience using Docker (desirable)
Experience in Back-End Development with Node.js and javaScript (desirable)
Significant experience with Kafka
Significant experience with NiFi
Significant experience with MongoDB
