Job Description:
PrimeRevenue is looking for a full stack developer with deep experience building web applications using legacy and modern front-end frameworks like Spring MVC and Angular2. You will join the TEAM as a developer of our financial applications and work with Java, Spring, SQL, Docker and Gradle. In this role, you will continuously improve the design and quality of our products. You will also have an opportunity to contribute ideas and code as we develop our new microservices architecture using Java 8, Spring Boot and Angular2. No relocation package available.
Job Functions:
Development using UI frameworks and legacy Java
Learning & Implementation using new UI and backend frameworks
Understanding the legacy application infrastructure to support our web app
Unit testing JS and Java code before checking into source control
Following agile practices
Delivering code to specifications
Building a great user experience
Job Responsibilities:
Provide informal support/guidance for TEAM members
Participate in production on-call rotation for at least one product, including attending daily production support calls during rotation
Take an interest in technical and business training
Participates in agile development process
Engage in recruiting efforts
Contributes to development of products through:Daily hands-on development
Employing automated testing practice
Review of work by engineers on the TEAM
Assistance to product management with research and planning
Must be able to work in our Prague office
Job Qualifications:
Proficient in English (C1 or higher)
Extensive experience in at least one object-oriented language & framework
Employs soft skills to communicate within the TEAM and to other TEAMs in the technology organization.
Capable developer who continues to learn and apply new technologies
Able to execute on complex assignments
Strives to be innovative
Comfortable working alone or in a TEAM
Participate in development of multiple applications, and has exposure to structured software development life-cycle
Experience working with critical systems
Proficient in Java development in legacy as well as Java 7 and 8
Knowledge of early Spring MVC Framework
JavaScript, both in its raw form and with the common JS libraries, (jQuery, etc…)
SQL & Relational database experience
XML, HTML, JSON
Unit testing using common testing tools such as JUnit, EasyMock, etc.
