Responsibilities
As an experienced Software Engineer in Corporate Systems Support (CSS), you’ll join an Agile team of cross-functional engineers focused on customer facing applications through channels such as the web, voice, and chat! As part of the Customer OmniChannel Experience team in CSS, we are at the intersection of many strategic and digital initiatives that impact the enterprise! This provides unique opportunities to solve key business problems impacting our customers.

Additionally, this position will report to a leader that is very passionate about innovation, a culture of safety, a product mindset, and developing and delivering solutions through mature software engineering practices.

Your day will be filled with: 

  • Engineering solutions with outcomes of quality, speed, and customer value through mature CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborating with highly skilled and motivated product-focused individuals.
  • Working directly with stakeholders to optimize existing solutions or design new ones to deliver business outcomes.
  • Experimenting with new technologies and practices to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Eliciting requirements, write automated tests.
  • Creating or migrating solutions to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
  • Potential formal leadership opportunities may also exist.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Java development experience
  • 5+ years of experience building backend and middle-tier services using Java technologies preferred
  • Agile environment experience
  • Advanced planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making presentation and communication skills
