Overview

Revelator is looking for a talented python developer to join our internal ops team. The job is based in Israel (Jerusalem preferably).

Who you are

  • You have proven success developing python applications (boring technical requirements below)
  • You expect the best performance from yourself and from your team
  • You want your team to improve as much as you want yourself to improve; your feedback is always focused on helping the team improve and not on belittling them
  • You’re not afraid to dive in to already written code; to figure it out and make it do your bidding
  • You would rather write clean, easy to read code than overly clever code
  • You can speak up when you have something important to offer, and listen when you have something to learn

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and improving internal tooling
  • Creating integrations between our existing products
  • Addressing issues with other Revelator products as needed
  • Working with a great team to build a great product!

Who we are
Revelator is working to redefine payments in the music industry by increasing the speed, accuracy and transparency of rights management, digital supply chain and royalty payment distribution. Our existing app combines asset distribution to top stores (iTunes, Spotify, etc) with royalty management tools to make it easy for artists to get their music out and get paid. Beyond that, we provide analytics tools for labels, distributors, and other large enterprises to keep a handle on how their music is performing around the world. Our most exciting development is on the horizon – the artist wallet. This is a blockchain based technology to put money in artists’ hands in almost real time from when consumers listen to their music.

Boring technical requirements

  • 4+ years building and delivering python applications including SQL databases
  • 1+ year working with pandas (or similar data frame technology)
  • Understanding of and at least some experience with OO design
  • Good experience with CI/CD pipelines and docker
