SD Elements is recruiting a hybrid software and systems experts with a keen interest in DevOps and modern system operations, must also possess a good understanding of commercial software development and deployment. DevOps Engineers are hybrid systems and software engineers who take ownership of scaling, automation and configuration management and all related issues.

The ideal candidate is half operations engineer and half developer. Your role will be critical to integrating, deploying and supporting platforms for our enterprise customers. As a result of our unique customer needs, you may be required to travel to customer sites, up to 10% of the time.

What you’ll do

Manage (install, monitor, and update) cloud application servers for the SD Elements SaaS offering
Manage and deliver our in-house On-Premise software packages and installers to clients
Assist clients in deploying and configuring in a wide range of IT environments
Tier 2 support for the product
Tier 3 support for the cloud infrastructure and operations of remotely deployed on-premise servers
Maintain the continuous integration infrastructure for Development
Create and maintain the SDE Lab used for QA and Development of integrations and SSO
Assist Support and Development teams by automating operations
What you’ll need to succeed

2+ years of experience in software development.
2+ years of experience in operations, administering Linux systems.
Understanding of software development and python based web applications
Minimum 1 year of experience working with Docker
Experience with scripting languages: Bash, Python and/or Ruby.
Experience with cloud computing providers including AWS
