Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer is an experienced software engineer responsible for leading the software development effort of large-scale software systems with a global team. This individual is the central point of contact for client technical issues and requirements. The Senior Software Engineer ensures proper training of the software development team with regard to technologies and the context for specific projects. The full spectrum of the software development lifecycle is used to define and scope requirements, architect and design a solution, prototype, code, test, deploy, monitor, and document.

• As a technical lead, provide support for a large-scale web application, working with an offshore development team. Work with the customer to understand business needs to define and clarify requirements ensuring timely delivery with high quality.
• Architect, design, and implement software solutions for customer requirements.
• Interface with customer processes and technology, conducting reviews to meet

  customer’s security and architectural requirements.

• Communicate and provide technical leadership for the customer with their business

  team, working through complex functionality to create solid, usable solutions.

  Responsibilities

• Create and implement software requirements for a large-scale system.
• Provide leadership and direction for a global development team.
• Represent the company with clients, responding to requests in a timely and efficient

  manner and coordinating delivery.

• Maintaining and evolving successful partnerships with clients.
• Working with leadership team to measure team progress and provide input on the

  direction and team composition to most effectively deliver to evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience of 4-8 years in a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Java, C#, JavaScript, or other modern web application languages
• Experience developing large-scale web application systems across the full stack
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work in source control using tools such as Git.
• Experience working in agile teams including planning, scoping and creation of technical

  solutions for new product capabilities with continuous delivery to production.

  Demonstrated Skills

• Experience developing large-scale web application systems across the full stack.
• Extensive experience and breadth with Java, C#, JavaScript, or other modern web application languages, and the ability and desire to continually learn and develop

  software development skills.

• Experience leading software development teams and architecting software required.

  Must be comfortable working independently.

• Ability to communicate and coordinate with clients and global development partners.

  Desirable Skills

• Experience with AWS, EKS (Kubernetes), Docker and GitLab.
• Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, Salesforce, Squarespace or other

  eCommerce platforms.

• Experience with modern web application UI frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.

  This job position requires a candidate be authorized to work in the U.S. In Time Tec will not sponsor work visas. This job position does not include a relocation package.
