 Job Title: Snowflake Integration Capability Lead

 Responsibilities:  

As a Principal Data Consultant, you’ll work in various data projects covering different data domains such as data architecture, data modelling and warehousing, data integration and migration, data quality, and data governance. These projects will primarily involve cloud solutions but will also deal with source systems on-premise. In this role, you’ll help drive our Snowflake capability and define the vision of how we will leverage Snowflake and other technologies to solve client problems.

 The key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead Slalom’s Snowflake capability including vision definition and execution
  • Lead and participate in business development and pre-sales activities around Snowflake and surrounding technologies
  • Act as a domain expert in Snowflake and other cloud capabilities
  • Manage and lead assessment, discovery, and project deliveries
  • Lead and participate in business development and pre-sales activities
  • Build and manage a team of data consultants across multiple data practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience managing technical capability and supporting sales activities
  • Relational Database Experience: Understanding of Data Modeling concepts (Dimensional Model, Data Vault), knowledge of OLAP structures, SQL Performance tuning
  • Previous experience managing and delivering data migration and integration
  • Deep experience with Snowflake and other Cloud technologies
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Boomi, Talend, Informatica, Matillion, FiveTran, etc.)

Bonus/ Nice to have:

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience and working knowledge in programming languages i.e. Python, Java etc.
  • Understand different types of storage (Relational, MPP, NoSQL) and working with different kinds of data (structured, unstructured, metrics, logs, etc.)
  • Experience in AWS, GCP and/or Azure
  • Experience working with databases such as Teradata, Netezza, Redshift
