As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will contribute to the growth and sales strategy of Smile CDR by mapping the value of our product to prospective customers through technical evaluation and solution design. Your technical expertise will be relied upon for the ultimate measure of success: customer conversions, delighted customers, successful contracts, and company growth. Typical activities include evangelizing, performing product demonstrations, answering questions verbally and in writing, responding to questionnaires and RFPs, developing prototypes and working demonstrations, training support, and generally being a presales solutions concierge.
Create high-level IT architecture specifications and design documents and troubleshoot and resolve issues with the design.
Analyze complex customer environments and requirements, including identification of gaps. Build on this analysis to create sound solutions, solutions architecture and scope. Perform this work in collaboration with the various customer, partner and internal teams.
Develop MVP and “fail fast” prototypes/PoCs/innovation solutions and appropriate product management solutions to operational production status.
Rapidly develop and maintain a deep knowledge of our product, FHIR, and customer environment.
Contribute to customer sales proposals and pitch mechanics, supporting contract negotiations and closing.
Support the development of custom technical presentations and demonstrations to articulate use-cases and value to prospective customers/partners.
Strong technical background with at least 8 years in software engineering, pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture, in customer-facing roles.
Experience in a software development environment combined with proven expertise in solutioning, deciphering, elucidating and architecting customer needs.
Well-rounded technical expertise in a myriad of software engineering disciplines such as databases, analytics, cloud ops, front end/ back end development, HL7, FHIR, etc., committed to developing your expertise in FHIR and FHIR servers (e.g. HAPI).
Has acted as a trusted subject matter expert, excellent verbal and written communication skills, innovative, strong solutioning skills.
Strong collaboration and consensus-building skills. Results-oriented and self-directed while being a solid team player.
