Front End Job Summary:

We are looking for talented and creative front-end, and or back-end engineer to build and launch a top-notch mobile and web-based solutions. Successful candidates are enthusiastic about working with product managers and UX designer to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes and transform them into exciting end user features. You are comfortable taking initiative and working across teams in a relatively unstructured environment (there is still agile, you can’t escape standups). You have well-honed, insightful architectural design instincts, and enjoy building simple and elegant systems that will scale to support thousands of users. You love playing with data and generating insights to help improve our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in regular stand-ups and other team meetings and taking an experienced approach to developing SaaS applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, both in front-end and server-side technologies
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Work with QA, DevOps, other Developers and Product management to build innovative products
Write comprehensive automated tests
Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
Have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web/mobile functions and standards

Education / Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with programming experience.
Deep experience with ReactJS
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, D3, Webpack)
Strong track record of advanced JavaScript development
Typescript is a nice to have
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 

Back End Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about technology. They should have experience building scalable and robust solutions and can help set the direction of our framework/platform. You will work with a talented group of engineers, designers, and product managers and enable them to build new and innovative features for our Analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop Thirty Capitals backend layer and/or analytics pipeline.
Design, implement, and document new platform features and associated unit tests.
Modify, enhance, and optimize existing codebases.
Take part in an agile development cycle – including planning, development, testing, deployment, and support operations.
A strong desire to explore, learn, and share new technologies, programming languages, and frameworks.
A love for Git and all that version control provides. Will also accept a love/hate relationship with Git.
Experience with message broker systems, Django frameworks, and data warehousing technologies.
Deep understanding of Python idioms and semantics.
Experience using one or more continuous integration, testing, or deployment frameworks.
History of using or willingness to learn to use Linux-based operating systems on a daily basis.
Comfortable working with cloud technologies like SQS, SNS, Lambdas, Redshift, etc.

Education / Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with programming experience.
+5 years of Python and preferably with the Django framework.
+3 years working with cloud platforms.
Professional experience working with systems designed to deliver and operate on streaming data in near-real-time, or personal projects related to the same.

Certifications / Licensure Requirements:

Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications preferred.
Marketing automation solution experience required, with HubSpot user certification strongly preferred.

 

 

These roles are both fully remote, but the majority of our team sits on the East Coast. With that, we have a strong preference for those in the Eastern Time zone/those willing to work within that time zone.
