Overview
Within our TWAICE Predictive Analytics Platform, we are building an incredibly powerful and versatile software backbone in the cloud. We’re using this platform to build solutions for our customers and enabling them to integrate our advanced battery models and predictive analytics into their own products. As we scale, we will be processing large amounts of data from varied sources such as our own battery lab, connect vehicles, and energy storage farms. This data will power our mattery models, machine learning engine, and predictive analytics.
YOUR DAILY BUSINESS WILL INVOLVE
- Designing, implementing, and improving microservices and RESTful APIs to build a powerful and scalable platform
- Handling terabytes of data, identifying bottlenecks and evolving our platform for scalability and reliability
- Driving high-frequent deployments of the Energy Solutions team
- Being an interface to other teams at TWAICE for software-related questions, especially for shared infrastructure
- Conceptualizing new and updated product features, going the whole way from customer requirement breakdown into detailed technical conceptualization
- Contributing to a motivated cross-functional team solving hard problems the right way
YOUR PROFILE
- M. Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Maths, or a related field
- 3+ years industry experience in software engineering or a similar field
- 1+ years experience in a data-driven business environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, including best practices like clean code, unit testing and CI/CD or DevOps
- Experience with frameworks like pandas, numpy, spark and others
- Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g. S3, Glue, Athena, EC2, Lambda) or similar services from other cloud providers
- You are a great communicator and team player, highly motivated and with a hands-on quality-driven mindset
