A motivated self-starter with a passion for user-friendly software development.
Someone with a love of learning who embraces variety in their role.
Junior/Intermediate full-stack developers with experience in multiple technologies.
A person who can listen to client needs and develop and embrace healthy feedback.
A broadly skilled individual who can actively contribute to our technology solutions.
A team player who is effective at communicating and interacting directly with end-users.
A person who likes to take ownership of a project and see it through from creation to completion.
High attention to detail is required.
What you will bring to the role:
At least 5 years’ software development experience.
A software-focused tertiary qualification.
Full-stack experience with strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, MVC, SQL, REST, Design Patterns, Cloud, JavaScript & JS front-end frameworks, API’s
Primarily using ASP.Net, MVC5, Visual Studio 2017, .net Core, angular
Azure environment and tools
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Front-end web application development (HTML5, CSS, JS front-end frameworks)
Experience working with modern APIs
Ability to analyse complex business requirements and define and document appropriate solutions in a language readily understood by both the business and technical community.
A strong background in database modelling

Software Development, Planning and Testing:
Work with Management to develop and implement a long-term IT strategy.
Develop, maintain and enhance software for all Urgent Couriers’ systems.
Liaise with the IT Manager to ensure software upgrades are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain industry best practice with regards to software testing, implementation and rollout.
Adhere to industry best practice around source code repository use.
Take part in project planning with end-users to provide technical and strategic input.

You’ll need to be based within Auckland (as we will have a few days a year that we’ll bring everyone together)
