The Delivery Manager, Web Applications manages Software Engineers, Data Engineers and Visualization Engineers in the delivery of these high-performing, scalable high-quality products. The ideal candidate has a background in building high-performance, modern web applications as well as exposure to big data. A successful manager of this team is proactive, interactive, creative and understands the value of people.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Working closely with Product Managers and Product Owners
Collaborating with Architects and Engineers to help drive the technical direction of the product suite
Delivering high quality, scalable products to Verimatrix customers
Facilitate interaction between the platform teams and other departments
Help the teams reporting to you be collaborative
Juggle many high-visibility, customer facing projects
Develop a world-class engineering team by
Recruiting, training and mentoring the best talent
Being an example to those that report to you
Fostering a culture of autonomy, respect and accountability
Work closely with other Delivery Managers to ensure seamless integration across our web platform
Be creative in your solutions, don’t be stuck in a box
Communicate project plan(s) and roadmaps transparently to facilitate delivery

If you have 3-5 years of lead experience with a medium or small team and you want to be a manager, we’d like to talk to you!
If you’re already established as a manager but want more opportunities to learn and grow from some awesome leaders, then we’d like to talk to you!
Looking for engineers with 4-10 years of experience in software or data engineering on customer-facing products.
You’ll need to have effective communication skills and the ability to speak coherently to technical and non-technical groups.
Must have a thorough understanding of software engineering practices including a demonstrated commitment to software engineering best practices.
It helps if you are self-directed and an independent worker and thinker
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or any related field
Any of the Following would be a Plus:
Familiarity with some of the following technologies: React, NodeJS, JavaScript, Python
Relational or NoSQL database experience
AWS services (SQS, Event Bridge, Lambda functions, API-GW, CloudFront, etc.) other technologies such as Docker and Spark
Software development experience in building web services and highly scalable applications
Security protocols, cryptography, PKI, SSL/TLS experience
Security technologies including Security Groups, WAF, firewalls, IPS, Web Security
Proficient in Linux based systems, serverless computing concepts and cloud infrastructure
Understand scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
Video or media and entertainment industry experience
Object-oriented design and programming experience
TRAVEL: up to 20% if required by the organization for business needs – overnight traveling within USA as well internationally
