Overview

The Opportunity

As Vexev’s Machine Learning and Data Engineer, you’ll be powering our data aquisition and processing functionalities. Make an impact in developing cutting edge algorithms to make Vexev’s accessible imaging powerful:

  • Using raw ultrasound data to create wide-spectrum, high quality 3D images
  • Rapid and robust identification of 3D anatomical structures, as well as early disease detection
  • Facilitate collaboration and sharing between medical practitioners and their patients
  • Provide diagnostic insights by applying AI across our corpus of historical scans

The platform will revolutionise the discipline of vascular imaging. This is a technology that will be used day-in-day out, and will become the new standard of reporting.

To create this platform, you will be working directly with the Vexev engineering and product development teams. You will be empowered with a high level of autonomy to make thoughtful and pragmatic technology choices.

Working at Vexev

At Vexev we value creativity, work product and collaboration above all else. There is no dress code, no meetings that don’t make sense, email is rarely used and you set your own start and finish time. We are very serious about creating paradigm shifting solutions for vascular imaging, and as such have created a work environment where team members have minimal cognitive overhead with busy work that may take their minds off this mission.

Our office is located in Surry Hills – a 5 minute walk from Central station, and close-by to the many great cafe’s, sandwich shops, fashion outlets and bars that Surry Hills has to offer. Working at Vexev, you will find yourself in an office with plenty of space, natural sunlight and fresh air throughout – as well as end of trip facilities (showers, bicycle storage, lockers etc) and a huge rooftop for team lunches and gatherings.

Vexev is well funded and has VC-backing by some of the best Australian and US based investors. Hence, you will experience what it is like to be in the early stage of a company with exponential potential and closely collaborating with the top minds this industry has to offer.
