If you are a bright, driven, and versatile Full Stack Engineer with a knack for web-based applications development and a proven portfolio of enterprise solutions, then we’re looking for you! Vitrium is a small, but fast-growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that develops content protection and digital rights management (DRM) solutions for organizations around the world. Our software platform protects documents, images, audio and video content. Our global customers range from small to large-sized businesses and who are primarily in the education, training, research, and digital publishing spaces.

About You
You are a superbly talented full-stack developer with expertise in .Net C#, React.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and relational databases, especially Microsoft T-SQL. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible. Use your voice to advocate for what we build and how we build it, and you can have a significant impact on the road map!

This position may be done remotely (anywhere in the Greater Vancouver region), or in the company’s downtown Vancouver office, or a combination of both. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively on an agile team to deliver high-quality code
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to discuss work progress and plan future sprints or releases
  • Use the company’s JIRA agile project management system to track tasks, projects, and road map
  • Use the company’s GIT (Bitbucket) repository for managing code
  • Establish and follow best practices for coding by building reusable components, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, test-driven code
  • Assist the company in architecting, implementing, and testing new features
  • Assist the company in improving and maintaining existing products for usability, efficiency, and backwards compatibility
  • Assist with debugging and fixing software defects

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Min. 5+ years of hands-on experience with .Net C# and MS T-SQL
  • Min. 3+ years of React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js, Typescript or other front-end framework experience
  • Previous experience working in an agile / scrum environment
  • Previous experience using JIRA, GIT, or related programs

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills:

  • Some experience with C++, PHP, Node.Js or other back-end code
  • Some experience with Bootstrap
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies
  • Technical writing and maintaining API documentation
