Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer

Why we need you.

We are New Zealand’s leading electronic payments company and Kiwis rely on us to ensure that electronic purchasing is available wherever purchases for goods and services need to be made. In our history to date, we have put through 16 billion transactions, worth an estimated $700B, and worked with over 120,000 merchants.

Our team is growing fast, and we need new people to help us develop our online apps and services. You’ll be working on our innovative, new LG (Linked Gateway) system. LG is a next generation payment routing solution developed in-house and responsible for managing routing and processing of all Worldline NZ’s online payment requests. LG integrates closely with our consumer facing Click product to form a complete end to end payment solution for our customers. It’s ground-breaking stuff and we can’t wait to get you on board to help us continue to transform the way we pay for goods and services in NZ!

What you are going to be doing.

This is a Software Engineering role, working with a product-focussed team. Although you’ll spend much of your time working with Java and Python, you’ll also be writing code in other languages and using a variety of technologies. You’ll be involved in all parts of the process, seeing features through from an idea to production. In a normal week though you can expect to be spending time on:

Building new product features
Defining architecture
Supporting QA Engineers
Supporting Security practices
Helping your team to be their best
Developing proof of concepts
Supporting the infrastructure
Drive the CI/CD and DevOps processes and practises.
