🚚 You will be responsible for:

Contribute to the code design improvements of the core backend code
Understand Product Requirement Documents and translate them into technical tasks
Continuously improve and ensure code quality with a special focus on maintainability and code readability
Partner with Cloud Ops team on improving release confidence on our CI/CD pipelines
Support technical decision-making balancing business impact with technical quality
Support less experienced teammates through coaching and code reviews
Assume a critical role in shaping the engineering organization by sharing best practices and interviewing additional engineers

 

🚚 To ensure your success, you’ll need:

5+ years of relevant experience as a backend engineer
2+ years running NodeJS in production
To be familiar with NestJS is a nice to have
To follow and evangelize best practices in API design
Experience working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code
To be comfortable working with cloud providers (Azure preferably) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferably) from an application developer perspective will help you succeed in our DevOps culture
Ability to apply the 12-factor app methodology to what you’re building
To be comfortable in working in an early stage fast-paced environment
Master the balance between business impact and technical debt
English communication skills, both written and verbal
