The Team
You will be part of a team that would build, maintain and own services. As such you will be focused on the engineering best practices, microservices architectures, principles of CI/CD to deliver secure, scalable software to meet Xero’s customer needs.
About you
We are looking for a passionate developer and just as important as the technical experience is the ability to be #human and take ownership of your environment.
We’re on a journey to improve our test automation, quality and deployment practices, so we’re looking for someone with deep experience in continuous deployment. Experience with test automation at all levels of the test pyramid and beyond, and experience working in a Continuous Deployment model.
What you’ll bring with you:
- Relevant bachelors degree and at least 3 years relevant experience
- The ability to effectively apply your analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
- Your knowledge of design patterns in development (eg SOLID) and platform architecture (Microservices, Event Driven, DDD)
- Previous experience demonstrating your ability to envision web-based services in a distributed environment that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.
- The ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Consistent self-motivation, direction and interpersonal skills.
