We’re constantly improving our website and apps to provide the best yoga experience. We’re looking for an experienced Rails developer to join our team in Hamburg or remotely. As a Software Developer, you’ll work in an agile team with tech-savvy people to deliver high-quality, stable feature implementations. We’ll challenge you!

You will:

  • Design, build and maintain our user-facing product, subscriptions, payment, tracking, and data infrastructure
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to the team via peer review, retrospectives, and lively discussions
  • Join in open and creative discussions where you can pitch ideas to improve our products
  • Take responsibility for your work, from implementation to deployment and maintenance
  • Write automated tests for your work (and preferably insist on others doing the same)

What you bring to the table:

  • You feel comfortable organizing your work independently and finding your solutions to complex issues
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Enjoy connecting external systems in an intelligent way for solving business problems
  • Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails (2+ years experience)
  • Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, virtualization, and cloud computing
  • Knowledge of SQL-based database systems, no-SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus, too
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
