Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

Owned test strategy and end-to-end automation across web (TypeScript), REST APIs, and native iOS (Maestro), replacing hours of manual regression per release. Built nightly Airflow/Cloud Composer pipeline validation verifying output correctness, not just job status. Validated non-deterministic model and LLM outputs for MLOps and integrated LLM tooling into daily test engineering. Scaled suites on Kubernetes, led GitLab CI migration with suites gating each promotion, and ran JMeter/Locust performance testing.

Built internal python helper libraries and AWS tooling that became shared test infrastructure beyond the immediate team. Wrote pytest suites and test infrastructure for microservices across the PlayStation Now platform, including Boto3 automation validating live game streams against new European datacenters ahead of launch. Led QA for SRE’s datacenter migration, validating capacity for 700,000+ concurrent users. Designed the backend for QA’s dashboard test runner and extended Prometheus exporters.

Wrote test plans and Python/PowerShell automation for enterprise security products, including the Security Virtual Appliance. Configured and managed the ESXi virtualization layer the appliance testing depended on. Found and helped close product vulnerabilities, and ran localization passes across supported locales.

Hardware validation and regression testing of enterprise storage components (I/O modules, disk enclosures, storage processors) using Python automation frameworks. Ran environmental and thermal dwell testing, validating hardware behavior across temperature extremes. Modified Jenkins plugins in Python to support lab validation workflows and kept Linux builds managed and reproducible.
