Overview
About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer you will join our small but fast moving engineering team. You will work at the forefront of new technology, solving challenges that impact both the frontend and backend architecture, and ultimately, delivering delightful user experiences. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple backend languages.
This position reports to our VP of Engineering located in our Austin, TX office and is fully remote or in-person.
What You’ll Do
Work across the full stack, building highly scalable, distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment
Work alongside a talented team of engineers who will enable you to learn and grow as you progress in your career
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design
Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
Work closely with our Product Management, UX, and QA teams to deliver products and features with the highest quality
What We Need From You
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
1+ years of experience building large-scale software applications
Experience building web applications
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Experience with unit/integration testing
It’d Be Awesome If You Have Experience With
MEAN stack, or its individual components (MongoDB, Express, Node.js, Angular)
