Overview

Inspire Brands is looking for QA Lead, Digital Services. As part of the Digital Services Delivery team, this position is responsible for software and data testing design, planning, automated scripting, and execution for a variety of key business-facing and internal applications, integrations and databases. The QA Test Lead will work closely with developers, data engineers, scrum masters, product owners and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test sprints, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes, QA life cycle, testing/leading e-commerce backend, web and web services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create use cases, user stories, functional specifications, diagrams, and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements
  • Participate in technical meetings between a wide array of individuals of QA, business, Dev teams, Managers, BA, and other project-related team members
  • Work on multiple projects/initiatives across multiple applications daily and collaborate with manual, automated functional, and non-functional teams
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system and user acceptance testing, as well as provide leadership of testing resources

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year Degree
  • Minimum of 7-10 years as a QA Lead
  • 5 years of testing experience in data/backend/web services

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Expertise in testing REST API using Robot Framework and SOAP UI
  • Strong knowledge in website and web services testing via Tool SOAP UI/ Restful web services
  • Understanding of BDD Frameworks:  Cucumber, Keyword, and Data-driven framework
  • Extensive experience in testing/ leading e-commerce backend services
  • Knowledge of developing Automation Framework using Selenium Web Driver and J2EE
  • Good experience with Continuous Integration Tools with source version control tools like DevOps and Gitlab
