Overview

We’ve got big growth plans for 2022 and we’re looking for a Junior Developer to join our high performing and cross functional Development team.

Empowering retailers to do great things is what we do. We’re looking for someone who can help us support the development, implementation and fine tuning of our app and platform.

While our HQ is in Auckland, we’ve been working flexibly since day dot. You can either work remotely (so long as its within NZ), base yourself from HQ or do both. What works best for you, works for us.

What you can expect:

  • Translate application story boards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for our Starshipit platform
  • Integrate data storage solutions
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs while executing solutions to mitigate and address the issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation
  • Work within a cross functional team with a Product Owner and other internal stakeholders to ensure our product is world class

This is the technology we use:

  • Blazor, ASP.NET with .NET framework and .NET Core (C#)
  • Azure Cloud Platform (Azure SQL, Redis Cache, Azure Functions)
  • RESTful API

Have you got this?

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience working as a Developer with Microsoft .NET stack
  • Experience working in a product development environment
  • An interest to learn solid design skills following best practise coding standards
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Experience working with large scale enterprise software is a bonus as is experience working with Entity Framework and Azure SQL
