What you’ll be doing:
Work within a team of like-minded professionals to plan and deploy critical business and mission applications in a production environment
Design and implement appropriate environments for those applications, engineer suitable release management procedures and provide production support
Automate the provisioning of environments
Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests and conduct review to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered components
Collaborate with peers on software design, work estimation and implementation of new features including interfaces, contracts with storage system, data transformation and handoff to client technical team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience
3+ years’ experience as a software developer designing and implementing enterprise-scale web applications
Secret Clearance required, TS preferred with ability to obtain a SCI and CI poly
Experience with .NET and JavaScript frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc)
Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum), Atlassian Team tools, and using continuous integration and delivery tools (Jenkins/AzureCI)
Familiarity with Azure (Microsoft Azure Cloud) is preferred
Knowledge of Visual Studios with web applications. (Cloud development experience preferred)
Desired Technical Skills and Competencies:
Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, Python, Scala
Unix scripting (Ruby, Perl, Python, shell)
Windows scripting (PowerShell, batch)
Microsoft Azure Cloud preferred, (AWS is applicable)
DevOps Tools – Salt, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory
