ABOUT YOU
You are all about bringing entrepreneurial spirit to join the team. You have a passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment. You focus on using cloud technology and delivering software leveraging eXtreme programming practices. As a Software Engineer you will have experience working on front end development and heavy on back end development. You will be working with product managers and designers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Engineer production-quality code to deploy these solutions on a platform specific for the client
Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation, foster software craftsmanship
Develop technical architecture and suggest the appropriate cloud services and frameworks to accomplish product goals
Surprise and delight customers and partner software engineers
Monitor and evaluate the performance of our solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in Object Oriented development in JavaScript (Node, React, Angular, Vue, etc)
1+ year of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices
Full Stack developer with heavy experience working on backend
BONUS POINTS FOR:
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles
Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally), backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools.
Familiar with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD).
Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTFUL Web services development.
Experience with GitHub
Highly effective in working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business partners.
Capable in CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Harness, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.
Understanding of fundamental data modeling
Experience in development of microservices.
Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally), backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools.
