Mobile Technologist
Your challenge

Your responsibilities
As a Mobile technologist you are responsible for:
Definitions and realization of innovative, high quality mobile solutions. Closely aligning with system architects on time, cost and quality constraints.Driving diverse technology-driven projects to a success, by bringing in deep mobile knowledge.
Active contribution to the mobile knowledge base in the department and the entire Philips Mobility community.

Your team
You will be part of the Mobile group, a group of more than 20 skilled professionals that is working on a diverse portfolio of mobile applications. This group has contributed to all HealthTech related releases shown at IFA2015. (http://www.ifa.philips.com/)
Our user-centered connected propositions contain re-usable components, within an increasingly open ecosystem. They also use current connectivity standards and cloud services. In short, they empower people. The Philips Connected Digital Propositions team of which you’ll be a part helps deliver best-in-class, end-to-end solutions. These include connected hardware, appliances, medical devices and wearables, and leading mobile apps across all major OS platforms. The team also develops various back-end cloud systems that integrate with these propositions.
The team works according to Agile principles, following SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) processes. You will work on highly innovative, first-of-their-kind propositions that are new within Philips, so an entrepreneurial mindset is an advantage. Together with your team, you will strive for continuous improvement of deliverables, your way of working and yourself. We are looking for
*Bachelors or Masters degree in SW Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent
*Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (networked) product development as mobile developer
*Proven track record in development methodologies like Agile/Scrum/V-Model

Set of strong technical skills in:
*Design/Development/Deployment of native Mobile applications
*Coding in Objective-C, Swift, Java and/or C++.
*System design, preferably complemented with adjacent software development competences (e.g. mobile applications, cloud hosting, data mining, IoT services, security, medical devices)
